When downloading software, you must consider all factors, including the compatibility of the software. For example, many have downloaded the PlayStation 2 Realty software to their computers, but can not get it to run on the Windows operating system. When they purchased the software at retail, the software came with the Sony Entertainment Network (SEC) application already installed on the computer. The download would only work if they added the SEC download to their computer.
If you are running the latest version of Windows and you're still having trouble getting the SEC software to work in your own media player, there are other options. You can continue to use the download as is and simply install the free application "WinAce Pro". This application will allow you to get the software to run on the Windows operating system. When installing this free application, you will be asked to download the installation files to your PC. Once the download is complete, you can then install the software by going to the windows start menu and navigating to the 'All Programs' category. Once in the 'All Programs' category, you will see a category titled 'Application'.
Once in this category, you will want to find the application that you would like to install. Once you have located the application, click the application icon. Then click the new option titled 'Run'. This will run the Windows 'All Programs' search box. If the program has been installed successfully, the results should display the media player software that you would like to run. Now all you have to do is install the media player application and then go into the settings and select the media player application from the start menu. That's all there is to it!
